"Ozio"
Over time, the Italian word “ozio” has acquired negative connotations as a synonym for inactivity, laziness, inertia. It was not always an expression of social disapproval however. Originally, it was used to denote an occupation which was mainly concerned with intellectual meditation, an activity set aside for the ruling classes, in contrast with the concept of negotium, meaning dealing with one’s own business more out of necessity than by choice (neg meaning “not”, and otium “pleasure”).
We have decided to re-propose the original concept of “Otium” in order to help you rediscover the pleasure of switching off and allowing yourself to delight in the simple enjoyment of time, in the company of a wine that is capable of sharing these moments of inner joy and calm.
